Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Attainment Data
We are delighted with our 2017 results: please view our data below.
Attainment Summary September 2016 – July 2017
This summary details Girton Glebe’s attainment results for July 2017 (TBA denotes national and local data due in Oct 2017) and how our results compare locally and nationally.
Early Years Foundation Stage
In the Early Years Foundation Stage, children are assessed against a number of areas of learning, and to attain the GLD (Good Level of Development) they need to have achieved the expected standard in both literacy and maths, as well as the three prime areas of learning: personal, social, emotional development; physical development; communication and language.
|% of children achieving the GLD|
We are delighted that 86% of our pupils attained the GLD, above both county and national averages.
Key Stage 1
Assessment for children at the end of Key Stage 1 changed in 2016. Children are now either assessed as working towards the expected standard, meeting the expected standard or working at greater depth. The standards have also been raised, so results are not comparable with previous years.
|% Working at Expected Standard||Reading||Writing||Maths||Combined|
|% Working at Greater Depth||Reading||Writing||Maths|
Particularly pleasing is the number of children who attained the expected standard in all areas: reading, writing, maths and science combined.
Key Stage 2
In Key Stage 2 the way of assessing pupils changed in 2016, with new versions of SATs tests in reading, grammar punctuation and spelling (GPS), and maths. There is not a test for writing; this is assessed by the teacher. The tests reflected the new revised standards and higher expectations of the new curriculum. 2017 results:
|% Working at Expected Standard||Reading||Writing||Maths||GPS||Combined|
All these results are a testament to both the hard work of the children and the staff.
|% WORKING AT GREATER DEPTH||Reading||Writing||Maths||GPS||RWM Combined|
In KS2, our scaled scores are:
Reading – 106.5 (National 106)
Maths – 104.6 (National 104)
GPS – 107.2 (National 106)
